Soapy Sally and the Cousin Crew: Legacy of Bubble Fox Hollow

To save the magic, they must first discover the truth.

Every family has a story. Five young cousins never imagined theirs was a legend.

An ordinary vacation to their grandmother’s house turns extraordinary when a shattered mirror opens the way to Bubble Fox Hollow — a hidden world of wonder where magic is slipping away.

Guided by the mysterious Soapy Sally and other friends they meet along the way, the Cousin Crew must recover what was lost, unlocking a secret that links their family to the survival of this magical realm.

The fate of Soapy Sally and her world rests in their hands. Only courage and love can mend what was broken so many years ago… on both sides of the glass.

Soapy Sally and the Cousin Crew: Return to Bubble Fox Hollow

Bubble Fox Hollow is calling them back…

The Cousin Crew believed Bubble Fox Hollow was lost to them forever. They were wrong.

When strange signs appear around Granny Roo’s home, the cousins are drawn back once more. But something is wrong in the Hollow.

The elements are out of balance. Somewhere in the Hollow, a missing baby holds the only hope of restoring what’s broken.

The Cousin Crew journeys through hidden castle rooms, magical gardens, and the mysterious Story Portal in search of answers.

As they reunite with old friends and meet exciting new ones, they must uncover the truth before it’s too late.

Because in Bubble Fox Hollow, magic is never quite as simple as it seems…

And this time, saving the Hollow means healing the heart of magic itself.

Rooted in an Appalachian tale, it carries the quiet power of oral tradition — honouring folklore while making it playful and deeply meaningful for today's children. I would place it in any classroom library with complete confidence.

Overall, this book is the best book I have ever read. I really want to read the next one. The animals were the most fun.

About

Hi, I'm Amy Lucille

I write whimsical, heart-forward stories for children and families, including the Bubble Fox Hollow series, where family, magic and wonder quietly weave together. As a mother of four and grandmother of five, I know how much storytelling helps children navigate their emotions, challenges and triumphs.

I write alongside my grandson Myles “Cooper” — my Official Mischief Consultant — and my granddaughter Lilli “Grace”, my Lil' Drummer Girl. Late-night brainstorms with my Chief Idea Wizards made sure every page shimmered with surprise and a lot of giggles.

Every child deserves to see themselves in a story.
